NATAL: CINEMACITY it's a research project about cinema and the city of Natal (RN). We bring together multidisciplinary practices of creation on the project online platform, organized by movements and montages that allow us to imagine the connections between the ideia of cinema-city.

The first edition took place online between the 30th of June to the 31st of July 2021. Organized into four programs, we screened 16 films according to the audiovisual territorialities experienced and created in the four zones of the city.

NATAL: CINEMACITY produced two essay films, three essay texts and a virtual art work that makes us think about space and time, about Natal and the cinema produced in the city.
